How is device closure performed?
During a device closure procedure, a catheter is inserted into a blood vessel, typically in the groin, and guided to the heart under X-ray guidance. Once in position, the device, often made of mesh or other biocompatible materials, is deployed to close the defect, eliminating the abnormal flow of blood. Book appointment
